Dec <var data-var='date'>18</var>, <var data-var='time'>06:43</var> CET Scheduled - This maintenance announces a remarkable behavior change for DataPlatform. Find the details below: Starting February 1st, 2026, contractual case limits will be applied to Remote Machine Tunnel usage. In the past, these limits have not been enforced by the Proemion DataPlatform. This update ensures consistent and transparent handling, aligned with other features of our system. A new session that would exceed the contractual case limit will be blocked by the DataPlatform. We are making this change to ensure the efficient and equitable use of resources across all customers. What is a Remote Machine Tunnel case? A new tunnel initiated without an active case creates a new Remote Machine Tunnel case. An Remote Machine Tunnel case remains active for a defined window (standard: 4 hours). All tunnel starts within this window are counted as the same case. What is changing? A new tunnel session that would exceed the contractual case limit will be blocked by the DataPlatform. How will usage be counted? Remote Machine Tunnel cases will be applied according to your existing contracts: Machine hosting contract (if applicable): Remote Machine Tunnel cases count against the case limit of hosting contract assigned to the machine. Fleet Diagnostics Package: If a machine individual case limit is not available or has already been reached, the Remote Machine Tunnel case counts toward your Fleet Diagnostics Package limit. Our documentation (https://docs.proemion.com/docs/dataportal/diagnostic_cases) describes how you can view the available and already used cases. In order to ensure a smooth transition, Proemion has checked for possible limit violations in the past and will contact customers who show a continuous overuse to adjust their hosting contracts so that the enforcement does not block their usual usage. Please check if your machines would be affected and get in contact with your account manager as soon as possible to ensure the changes get effective before February 2026 in order to not block your machines for Remote Machine Tunnel cases due to the case limits.

BEHAVIOUR CHANGE - Remote Machine Tunnel case limitation from February 1st, 2026
