This wave of enhancements is now live in our app. 1. Keeping client activities organized works best when every action ties to a clear structure. AdvicePay is phasing out unattached deliverables with a streamlined transitional workflow. Advisors who create a deliverable from the main index page can now place it into a dedicated shell engagement. This temporary option keeps current operations running while preparing for a future where all deliverables link to fully configured engagements. 2. To make helpful information even more accessible, a new interactive icon now resides across every page within the platform. A simple click opens up product updates and announcements, bringing a little extra convenience directly to the workspace. 3. Timely communication keeps financial relationships running smoothly. An update has been applied to automated upcoming invoice reminders to ensure billing notifications stay in perfect harmony. Previously, reminder emails occasionally arrived slightly off-schedule and displayed conflicting timeline details. Reminder notifications now dispatch precisely on the designated lead-time date and feature clear, explicit wording detailing the exact payment date. This improvement ensures clients always know when a transaction will occur, eliminating guesswork and boosting payment transparency for everyone involved. The next AdvicePay release is scheduled for 10/14/2026.

Previously, options for invoice automation appeared during workflow setup even when e-signature features were disabled, creating moments of minor confusion. To keep setup screens clean and tailored to each firm's active features, the system now automatically hides document-related invoice automation fields whenever e-signature functionality is turned off. This keeps workspace forms focused strictly on available tools. The next AdvicePay release is schedule for 09/30/2026.

Subscriptions can now be paused indefinitely or set for a specific number of billing cycles ranging from 1 to 99 periods. Clear visual indicators and data exports automatically display "Paused Indefinitely" so everyone stays on the exact same page regarding payment schedules. When managing an active subscription, select the pause option and pick either an open-ended hold or a specific number of billing periods. Helpful safeguards keep duration entries between 1 and 99 to avoid any payment calculation hiccups. For open-ended holds, the account screen and exported billing reports update instantly to show the clear status without extra clutter. The next AdvicePay release is scheduled for 09/02/2026.

Aug <var data-var='date'> 5</var>, <var data-var='time'>18:52</var> MDT Scheduled - Discover the latest advancements in AdvicePay's newest release. This wave of enhancements is now live in our app. 1. Enhanced Control: Flexible CC & BCC Email Preferences Managing team visibility and corporate compliance just got a lot easier. Firm Account Owners can now explicitly define whether Carbon Copy (CC), Blind Carbon Copy (BCC), or neither option is permitted for advisor communications across the organization. When enabled by your firm, Advisors can add specific CC and BCC recipients directly within their Account Settings → Notification Recipients panel to automatically loop in assistants and administrative staff on client notifications. If your firm’s compliance policies shift and a setting is disabled, outbound delivery to those addresses is instantly paused while your saved support staff data is safely preserved in the background. 2. We are transitioning our invoice status nomenclature from 'canceled' to 'voided'. While the API currently supports filtering by both terms, the canceled status is now officially deprecated. To opt-in and test the updated voided payload responses early, use the useVoidedStatus query parameter. On December 2, 2026, this temporary parameter will be removed, and the API will permanently stop returning the canceled string. We highly recommend utilizing this flag to update and verify your integrations as soon as possible. The next AdvicePay release is scheduled for 8/19/2026.

Jul <var data-var='date'>23</var>, <var data-var='time'>20:00</var> MDT Scheduled - Discover the latest advancements in AdvicePay's newest release. This wave of enhancements is now live in our app. 1. When a client updates a default payment method, AdvicePay now verifies allowed payment types against active subscriptions only. Clients can simply head to billing settings, select a preferred credit card or bank account, and save changes without encountering unexpected error messages. 2. Early Check Deposit allows advisors to record and deposit physical check payments against an active client invoice before its official invoice date. Previously, the platform restricted payment entries on future-dated invoices, forcing users to wait until the invoice date arrived. This update removes that barrier, allowing teams to process physical check payments immediately upon receipt, accelerating cash flow and eliminating manual administrative delays. 3. When marking a client as inactive, AdvicePay now automatically handles all the tedious administrative cleanup behind the scenes. Active subscriptions, pending invoices, agreements, and open deliverables are safely canceled or voided in a single smooth action. This prevents accidental charges and keeps account records sparkling clean without requiring time-consuming manual updates. 4. Essential plan accounts now measure client capacity using active relationships only. Advisors can hold onto an unlimited number of inactive client records for historical compliance and bookkeeping without taking up valuable roster spots. Think of it as a digital filing cabinet that keeps past client records safe without cluttering the active client list. 5. eSign template connections are now permanent. An issue causing updated Adobe Acrobat Sign documents to detach from engagement workflows has been resolved by improving how templates are identified during syncs, eliminating the need for manual re-entry by Home Office Admins. The next AdvicePay release is scheduled for 08/05/2026.

Jun <var data-var='date'>10</var>, <var data-var='time'>22:21</var> MDT Completed - The scheduled maintenance has been completed. Jun <var data-var='date'>10</var>, <var data-var='time'>22:19</var> MDT Scheduled - Discover the latest advancements in AdvicePay's newest release. This wave of enhancements is now live in our app. 1. If you’re an Admin of the signing Advisor, you can upload physically signed documents yourself. When you're using Adobe Acrobat Sign, just head over to the Documents tab in an Engagement. You'll find the "Upload" option right there in the action menu for any document that needs a physical signature. It’s a small update, but it means your staff can keep the momentum going while your advisors focus on what they do best. 2. Mandatory selection options for custom dropdowns ensure that every new client field is useful and organized from the very first click. This improvement eliminates empty menus and duplicate entries, keeping firm data consistent and reliable. When navigating to Firm Settings and selecting Dropdown for a new client attribute, a text box will appear immediately for the first menu choice. The system will notice if a choice is missing or if a duplicate name is entered, keeping everything perfectly organized. Once at least one valid option is typed in, the new field is ready to be saved and used across the firm. 3. The bulk upload tool for Advisor data just received a boost to handle every unique detail that makes a firm run smoothly. Custom fields are now fully supported in the upload process, ensuring that every piece of information finds its home on the first try without any manual cleanup afterward. The next AdvicePay release is scheduled for 06/24/2026.

May <var data-var='date'>27</var>, <var data-var='time'>21:31</var> MDT Completed - The scheduled maintenance has been completed. May <var data-var='date'>27</var>, <var data-var='time'>20:51</var> MDT Scheduled - Discover the latest advancements in AdvicePay's newest release. This wave of enhancements is now live in our app. 1. The "canceled" invoice status is transitioning to "voided" to better align with global accounting standards. All internal resources and records now emphasize this updated terminology to ensure a seamless transition before the old label is retired in December 2026. 2. A tiny hiccup that occasionally caused extra copies of documents to appear during the editing process has been resolved. This ensures that every adjustment made to an agreement or invoice remains precise, singular, and professional. 3. Deliverable confirmations now correctly display their status in all reporting views, ensuring seamless compliance and accurate record-keeping for every firm. Proof of delivery is always accounted for and ready for review. 4. AdvicePay is trading in the old "Cancel" button for a much smarter "Void" feature. Instead of invoices simply disappearing into a digital void, they now stay right where they belong (with a clear label) to ensure every firm maintains a perfect paper trail. The "Void" option is now located in the action menu where "Cancel" used to live. A new status badge identifies these items, and the Status filter can reveal items marked as "Voided" if they ever need to be reviewed. While these records stay tucked away from the main table views to keep things tidy, they remain available for compliance reviews or internal tracking at any time. 5. When adding a new Advisor Admin, a selection must be made in the Advisor field before the profile can be saved. If the field is left blank, the system will provide a friendly reminder to pick an Advisor. This ensures the account is linked to the right person instead of defaulting to the Account Owner. 6. When selecting an action that is permanent, a confirmation window will appear as usual. The warning "This cannot be undone" is now displayed in bold, bright red text centered on its own line. It is a simple, friendly reminder to take a quick breath and double-check everything before clicking that final button. 7. The calendars across the platform have received a precision tune-up to ensure dates stay exactly where they belong. Whether looking back at historical records or planning for the future, the information displayed will remain consistent and crystal clear every time a filter is opened. 8. When an advisor is removed from the system, AdvicePay now looks at any "in-progress" work (like unpaid invoices or active subscriptions). If those items have split rep codes attached to the departing advisor, the system will automatically update those codes to point to the account owner. Historical data for past, completed payments remains untouched to keep your records accurate. The next AdvicePay release is schedule for 06/10/2026
